Time is mysterious

Time goes by faster and faster as the years go by; which is terrifying, considering I'm not even twenty yet.  Will life really keep flying by faster and faster as I age?  I remember when I was little my birthday seemed like an eternity away and when it finally got "here" My excitement would be through the roof and it would be amazing.  Nowadays when my birthday comes around, it doesn't even seem like it should be my birthday already.. it's just another day.. that came by way too fast.  This could also be due to the fact that birthdays just aren't exciting anymore, but that's another topic entirely.  I know it's been said a billion times, but life is just way too short and I find myself worrying more about wasting my life away and just wasting time in general, than actually making the most of my time and living.

If only there was a way to savor time better.  Some days I think I might as well do nothing with my life because time seems to go by much slower when I'm bored.  However, I just cannot make myself get out of this "go, go, go" fast-pased lifestyle.  I need to find a good middle-ground.  If only there was a way to live a full, exciting life and yet it still go by slow. I wonder if as I age I will stop worrying about the topic so much.  Once I've accomplish a great deal in my life, will I stop worrying about dying?  Will I be happy enough with my life to be content with the age I die at?  I won't know until the day comes, i suppose.  Whenever that may be, I hope I am fully prepared.. if that is even possible.

  1. Love this topic ;) It doesn't matter what you accomplish in your lifetime. As long as you, "Be [who] you want to be, cherish [what] you should, slow down [when] you need to, go [where] you want to go, & live [how] you want to." I don't know your thoughts about God or Heaven but I truly believe in Everlasting Life. There's no need to worry about how content you are with life on earth if you believe in life in Heaven :)

  3. Btw, why are the dates/times wrong on here? Lol anyways, it's okay to be a little stubborn, Lol. But I always tell people.. If you don't believe, then you might be at some sort of "loss". Although, if you do believe, you will never "lose" anything by doing so, & you might gain an an eternal life. Basically, there's nothing bad that can come from believing in God and Heaven, but there is a chance that it could be bad if you don't. Just a little "food for though" ;)

  4. Wow, what you just said is pretty much exactly what I used to say. Thinking that, though led me to believing in nothing, because I just assumed believing in something mean you couldn't have any doubts. It's hard to say though. I guess it just depends on "you". It feels good to believe, I just feel like I'm lying to myself.

  5. That's why it's called believing, not knowing. It's a challenge but you could be also be lying to yourself by not believing. And having faith is meant to be doubtful. You just have to overcome your doubts by realizing how much reward you get from it :)
